And I managed to screw that up, resulting in me fighting Original Zero as the boss. Turns out I was wrong: it was the stage after that you need to finish your opponent with a HDM. So I thought to fight Igniz you had to finish off your hidden challenger (Namless) with a hidden desperation move, something I tried to do and failed, ending up getting a time over. An Xbox 360 version was also released, but the online play it features isn't good and it is also missing the color edit mode. There are two versions of it: the first version (which is what I'm using) and an updated 'Tougeki' version which removes an infinite and fixes some other bugs.
Sadly the Playstation 2 version of this game was only released in Japan. Just about everyone who appeared in '99, 20 is back, and there are several alternate versions of characters, meaning that this KoF has the largest fighter roster in the series. Characters missing from the original 2002 have been added, such as Igniz, Bao and Shingo. This game is a re-make of KoF 2002, with new backgrounds, new moves and several extra characters.
Playthrough with Terry, Krizalid and Rugal.
